The Team Travel to events all over the UK, including Wales, Norfolk, Cheshire, Lincolnshire the Midlands & Kent. Their first event of the year was Brands Hatch on a wet and windy weekend in March. The lads took to the wet conditions so well that 1000cc bikes on the same track found themselves being passed by them. Other events saw them doing equally well, getting on the top of the podium more often than not.
The Mallory park circuit proved to be a frustrating event, they were leading but then held up by a pit lane marshal, this caused them to lose first place to another team by just 13 seconds at the chequered flag – giving them a 2nd place which was their lowest podium result all year. The series included: events at: Brands Hatch, Anglesey, Snetterton (twice) Mallory Park, Oulton Park, Pembrey and Cadwell Park – all well known UK bike racing circuits.

All these events were televised and shown on the Motors TV channel, usually being screened a week or so after each event. They are also on-line to watch again at 2wheelstv.com .

They have been tipped as ones to watch in 2012 when they will be moving up a class to complete in the National championship, the highest level of endurance racing in the UK. The winter lay-off time is being used to rebuild and prepare the bikes – something that local companies are used for whenever possible but as the pair are both engineers, they do some of the work themselves to help stretch the funds out. Currently two Essex companies are assisting with services and sponsorship, the main sponsor for 2011 was ‘JD Classics’, a world class classic vehicle sales & restoration business also based in Maldon, on the Wycke Hill estate.

This year  we welcome ‘Ultimate 3D Ltd’  a specialist industrial model-makers and fast proto-type company based in Shoeburyness, Essex who have also joined as sponsors.
